40th Annual Candlelight Stroll - Saturday, December 7th: Grab the family and head to Strawbery Banke Museum this weekend for their 40th Annual Candlelight Stroll. Take a step back in time the moment you walk in - showcasing 350 years of seasonal and holiday traditions throughout the historic grounds. The scenic property will be glowing with hundreds of lighted candle lanterns, seasonal decorations, and the sound of holiday music can be heard all around. With roleplayers and performers who recreate the traditions of the past, it’s easy to get lost while enjoying the simpler times. 

Labrie Family Skate at Puddle Dock Pond - Saturday, December 7th & Sunday, December 8th: Puddle Dock Pond at Stawbery Banke is officially open for skaters! Grab your kids, friends, and loved ones and enjoy some ice skating at their outdoor rink until March! Open daily for lessons, family programs, and free skates. Rentals are available so bundle up and head on over!

Portsmouth Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting - Saturday, December 7th: Kick off the holiday season in Portsmouth, NH this weekend! From 5:00pm - 5:30pm enjoy the tree lighting ceremony in Market Square by The Mayor and honored guests followed by the parade at 6pm. Spectators are welcome to line the streets to enjoy music and participate in the festivities. This year’s parade theme is Hometown Holiday. Hope to see you there!

The Brewery Comedy Tour - Saturday, December 7th: Millyard Brewery in Nashua, NH will host nationally recognized comedians in this new comedy circuit! A night filled with a ton of laughter and some delicious local beer. Tickets are only $8, so get yours today!

Candy Cane Hunt 2019 - Sunday, December 8th: Grab the kiddos and head to Twin Bridge Park in Merrimack, NH for this FREE candy cane hunt! This beloved community event is open to kids from 0-12 years old. There will be three groups based on age to keep the event fun for all! Thousands of candy canes will be scattered and hidden around the park and if you find a Gold Candy Cane you can redeem it for a special grand prize! There are a number of Holiday Festivities to follow the Candy Cane Hunt so stick around to enjoy!

Charmingfare Farms Lighted Winter Wonderland - Friday, December 6th: It’s time to feel the holiday spirit, and there’s no better way to experience the magic than visiting Charmingfare Farms Lighted Winter Wonderland! With horse-drawn rides, nativity scene with live animals, Christmas costume characters, visit the North Pole, enjoy the Christmas trail, visit with Santa, feed Santa’s reindeer, visit the barnyard, get warm by the campfire, and pick out a Christmas tree! There’s fun for all to be had!

The Nutcracker in Concord - Sunday, December 8th: Venture to Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH for the live performance of The Nutcracker. This beautiful Christmas show will be sure to get you into the holiday spirit - tickets still available here

Winterlights at Stevens-Coolidge - Sunday, December 8th: Winterlights returns and it is bigger and better than ever! Come along on this magical experience at The Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover as it sparkles with thousands of artfully designed holiday lights. Bring the entire family to enjoy scavenger hunts, crafts, seasonal characters, food, refreshments and more! This event will run through the month of December and it’s a very popular event so grab your tickets soon
